ABOUT DEA 2026 

The UAP Design Excellence Awards 2026, known as OBRA, is the highest honor from the United Architects of the Philippines, celebrating architects and their completed works. This program shines a light on projects that embody vision, artistry, and the transformative power of architecture in elevating the built environment and driving national development.

“OBRA,” meaning “work of art” in the Philippines, emphasizes architecture as a culturally significant practice that shapes identity and enriches community life. Winning architects will be honored as Maestro or Maestra, with their projects celebrated as OBRA, recognizing excellence in both the creator and their creation.

This biennial awards program invites entries for projects completed from 2020 onward, whether in the Philippines or abroad, designed by UAP members in good standing.
